Congratulations! Welcome home! We are extremely proud of you all! And THANK YOU!!

I am certainly not alone in saying this. Barefoot fans (and those who are working on it) all across the USA are cheering and breathing sighs of relief that we now have 10 new Strasser Certified Hoofcare Specialists. This is great news for our beloved horses!

Many of us have been faced with the heartbreak of losing horses to hoof and leg problems that may have never happened in the first place had we had the knowledge of hoof function that we do now, thanks to Dr. Strasser's research. Hiltrud Strasser, Dr. Vet. Med, of Tuebingen, Germany, hoof specialist for over 20 years, has been applying the principle of physiologically correct hoof trimming (NO shoes), along with a natural lifestyle, with unequaled success. Cases of founder, navicular, ringbone, clubfoot, white line disease, and various other conditions (not limited to only the hoof) have been turned completely around through her methods. The hooves are at the base of everything about the horse - no hoof, no horse. Horses who were doomed have been fully rehabilitated, and there is much hope for preventing such problems by just trimming the hooves correctly and adopting a horse-friendly lifestyle for our steeds.

Dr. Vet. Med. Hiltrud Strasser operates The Institute for Hoof Health and ESHOP (European School for Hoof Orthopedics) in Tuebingen, Germany, a center for study and learning in which hoofcare specialists of the world obtain their schooling. In this first holistic hoof clinic, equine patients from around Europe are routinely healed and restored to a fully active life after being given up as hopeless and incurable by conventional veterinary medicine. Dr. Strasser has authored several textbooks on lameness and healing, reference books on natural boarding for horses, and many articles for both horse and veterinary journals. Only two books have been translated into English.
